Simply install the angle indicator on the sharpening rod, quickly adjust to your desired sharpening angle, remove the indicator, and begin the sharpening process. The seven abrasives all measure 1” x 6” and include 220, 320, 400, 600, and 800 grit diamond plates to quickly sharpen your edge, a ceramic plate that hones to an incredibly keen edge on any knife, and a leather strop that refines and polishes your knife to a scary sharp edge. From edge repair to getting a mirror polish on your favorite blade, this long-lasting abrasive assortment can do it all. The abrasives are easily interchanged using a common handle for repeatability. Remove the abrasive by simply lifting it off the handle and install the next grit with no need to readjust your sharpening angle. The ceramic rod on the abrasive handle hones serrations back to sharp as new condition. The innovative V-Block Clamp™ quickly, securely, & repeatably secures your knife and includes a stabilizer to ensure the knife is stable and secure when sharpening. The clamp can be removed from the sharpener when inserting or removing the knife for increased safety and comfort. The included base provides a stable platform and allows the sharpener to tilt back to rotate up to an 8” knife without removing the knife or clamp. Simply pull up on the lock, lean the sharpener back to rotate the knife 180° for symmetrical bevels on both sides of your knife. The included small knife table attachment mounts to the sharpener base so you can use the same abrasives and angle indicator for consistent results. The attachment allows you to sharpen small pen knives down to a 15° angle. Magnets and indicator marks on the table help to secure the knife and ensure repeatable placement when switching from one side of the knife to the other.
