- Select the correct sharpening angle using the adjustable guide
- Start with a coarser grit and move to finer abrasives
- For the Rolling Knife Sharpener, let the roller guide your stroke evenly
- Finish with the fine grit or honing rod for a razor-sharp edge

Pocket knives are easily sharpened using the Work Sharp Guided Field Sharpener 2.2.1 or the Precision Adjust system.
- Use angle guides (typically 20° for EDC knives)
- Apply light, even pressure along the blade
- For serrated pocket knives, use a fine diamond rod included in some models
Yes. For serrated or bread knives:
- Use a tapered ceramic rod or fine grit rod, available in select models
- Lightly stroke each serration groove at its original angle
Avoid flattening the serration tips for best performance
